April 2007 -- Spring  Break

We took the kids out to Stellar Airpark (P19) in Chandler, AZ, to visit with Grandma and Grandpa for Easter break

As luck would have it, when we returned the following weekend to bring them back home, Stellar was having their annual air faire. In addition to the static aircraft displays, they also had a decorated golf cart contest and parade (at this residential airpark there are quite a few golf carts).

When Pigs Fly...	Lori love's Teddy Bears	Something about this bugs me...	This was awsome! The rotors actually do rotate as the golf cart 'hover taxis' down the taxiway!	"Look Dad! A T-Tail like the Lance!" Duct tape -- don't leave home without it!
Stearman Flyby A group of 4 Stearman made some formation passes before landing		Hey, Honey, about that father's day gift idea...	Should have gotten fuel earlier Just as we were about to get fuel and depart, the flight of Stearman landed and taxied up for fuel.	Can't even taxi out Thought we could depart and get fuel in Buckeye, but their teamwork was too good for us -- slot man had blocked the taxiway. But couldn't ask for a nicer reason to be stuck on the ramp. :-)
